Informing all members that as from the 10th December Len Farnsworth has taken on the task of looking after all the letting out of club equipment. Anyone wishing to borrow kayak or canoe equipment will have to contact Len beforehand. You must be a paid up club member and be over 16 years of age.
There will be a token charge of £5-00 for a weeks loan of the equipment wither it be a helmet or a full set of gear, and will be on the proviso that if you loose it or break it you pay full price to replace it.
Paid up Clitheroe Canoe Club Coaches are exempt from payment where the equipment is for THEIR PERSONAL USE ONLY.
Organising pick up and return of the equipment can be organised with Len.
Any member who has equipment on loan please contact Len as the list on the notice board will be removed and no longer in use.
WE HOPE THIS WILL BE MORE CONVENIENT TO ALL MEMBERS
AND HELP KEEP TRACK OF THE EQUIPMENT

PADDLING SANTA – Helping those affected by the floods in the Lake District!

HO HO HO Many thanks to all that were able to come along on Sunday 20th December. We raised over £120 towards the Cumbria flood appeal and a number of pledges. If you do make a donation to the “just giving” site please reference Clitheroe Canoe Club and ideally drop me a note to to say how much as I am putting together a short press release for the paper (hopefully in next week). lf you need a little more time to organise an online donation just drop me a note of your pledge value and I can total it up for the press release. Merry Christmas – Paul
