The majority of the club’s paddlers participate in recreational paddling. This includes touring, sea kayaking, white water, surf-kayaking and open boating; either at the club or on club trips. Marathon and sprint racing are also an important part of the club activities and we can boast a number of past and present international paddlers amongst our ranks. The club has a wide range of boats and other equipment for use by club members stored in our two boat houses on the quayside.The quay opens onto the Exeter Ship Canal and the River Exe offering a wide range of opportunities for racing, placid water and three weirs for all year round play-boating. The club shares the use of the facilities with Exeter Rowing Club, ExeCalibre Dragon Boat Club and Exeter British Sub Aqua Club. We have a clubhouse, which hosts a bar and changing rooms with hot showers. Come and meet us on our our Club night, any Tuesday, after paddling with a social time from 8pm on.
A great team of coaches and leaders assist the club paddlers in making the most of their paddling. The club offers a variety of coaching for beginners and for more experienced paddlers.
