What is a Taster Session?
A taster session gives your group or organisation an opportunity to try out canoeing in a special session which we organise exclusively for you. We will arrange a session which is both exciting and different so that members of your organisation can ‘have a go at canoeing’.
The main object of the session is:
  • Having fun
  • Playing games
  • Getting wet
  • Learning some paddling skills
  • Generally having a good time
We can adjust the sessions to include the elements that you would like. We cater for everyone above the age of 10 and we provide all the specialist equipment that you require. Participants need to bring a change of clothes and a towel. They need to remember to bring an old pair of shoes to wear while canoeing. Party size should be between 6 and 10 people to get the maximum fun. Sessions take place on the River Frome next to the Clubhouse in the centre of Frome. The Clubhouse has excellent changing facilities and showers. Sessions are 2 hours long and cost £10 for under 18s, £12 for adults.

For more information please contact Pam Dixon.
