On the East Side of Kauai at the mouth of the Wailua River the Puuwai Canoe Club practices at the Wailua River. The sister club to Puuwai is Kukui`ula Outrigger Canoe Club which is located on the South Side in Poipu and practice at Kukui’ula Small Boat Harbor.
If you are staying on the West Side and want to take part in the paddling program the Kilohana Canoe Club paddle the Waimea River or on the North Shore contact the Namolokama O’Hanalei Canoe Club at the far south end of Weke Road.
