The Kayak Fishing Boondoggle™ is a four-day event, which occurs twice a year usually over the President's Day and Columbus Day weekends. The Boondoggle provides an escape for kayak fishing enthusiasts who want to relax, hangout, and fish with like-minded individuals in a new location. Passionate about the Boondoggle, kayak anglers travel from locations throughout Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Virginia, Texas, and from as far away as California, New Hampshire, and Maine. Many have become Internet friends through YakAngler's online forum or by participating in any one of Kayak Fishing Radio's nightly Internet radio shows. The Kayak Fishing Boondoggle brings us all together for a weekend packed with fun, fellowship, and fishing.
