Tandem Advice

I am looking for opinions on what is the best sit on top tandem kayak around 13 to 14 feet. I do realize that is a bit of an open ended question, but it's a place to start. We are 5'2" tall, both around 130 pounds. We will be in some open bay waters, back waters and streams and lakes. We are looking at the Tarpon 130T, Hoboe Odyssey, Liquidlogic Deuce coupe, Malibu TwoXl and the Ocean Zest TwoEXP. Please share your thoughts and advice.

RE: Tandem Advice
That's a good question. I have an Ocean Tandem...I call it the Big Green Banana. It's big, bulky, heavy and tracks poorly. I love taking my Gkids out in it. We've been on the WW, taken it through the Weedon Is. mangroves and out in the waves at Ft. Desoto. My son converts to a fishing kayak when he borrows it. What you want to look at is the design, the weight, can you transport it easily, do you want speed. It's really all personal. Do your research and go for a test spin to see if it fits your needs and have fun.
